Responsible Beneficial Owner (RBO)

A responsible beneficial owner is an individual who directly or indirectly owns 25 percent of the equity interest of a legal entity customer, which is considered the ownership prong, and a single individual who has significant responsibility to control, manage or direct a legal entity customer, which is the control prong.

A beneficial owner is an individual who ultimately owns or controls more than 25% of a company’s shares or voting rights, or who otherwise exercise control over the company or its management.

Beneficial Owner means the natural person who ultimately owns or controls a client and or the person on whose behalf a transaction is being conducted, and includes a person who exercise ultimate effective control over a juridical person. C. Bearer Shares Declaration.
